If you were not married when your child was born, you can acknowledge paternity for your child FREE through the Voluntary Acknowledgement (VAP) Program. Or, a trio (mother, father, & child) who do not already have a child support case, can request discounted genetic testing ($100/per person) through the Delaware Private Paternity Establishment Program. - Extended Hours
Need assistance with your child support case but can't make it in Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.? We're here for you the first Wednesday of every month from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.!
- New $25.00 Annual Fee
The Federal Government requires DCSE to collect a $25.00 fee on an annual basis from custodial parents who have never received Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
