ELECTRONIC DEPOSIT OPTIONS: As of April 1, 2011 DCSE is required to electronically deposit child support payments into either a DIRECT DEPOSIT -or- FIRST STATE FAMILY CARD account. Did you enroll yet? If not, do so today; it's FAST, FREE & SECURE! Watch a quick video about your electronic deposit options, then print out the Enrollment Form, complete and return it (along with any other required documentation) to any one of our three offices.
PATERNITY: If you were NOT married when your child was born, establish paternity (document the biological father of your child) for FREE without having to go to court, through the Voluntary Acknowledgement Program (VAP).
$25.00 ANNUAL FEE: The Federal Government requires DCSE to collect a $25 fee on an annual basis from custodial parents who have never received Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
