Guidelines
Late Arrival: No one will be admitted to any training class 15 minutes or more late. If there is an emergency or unseen complications the participant is expected to register for the next available class.
Special Accommodations: Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate any special need the student may have. We simply ask that advance notification be given.
Class Changes: While we make every effort possible to limit the number of changes made to the training calendar, we may have to reschedule classes. If we are required to do this we will give as much advance notice as possible. In order to lessen the confusion we ask that you ensure that the information reaches all of your staff. We will send the information to the main office for distribution to the satellite sites within your organization.
Class Cancellation: State offered trainings will be cancelled if inclement weather conditions prevail. Please listen to local TV and radio stations for announcements.
Class Participation: All persons that are attending the training sessions are expected to fully participate in the session. NO ONE should be attending training immediately after working an overnight shift if the class is a full day session. We are increasingly dealing with the problem of people falling asleep or those who sit in a disoriented state in class due to exhaustion. Our goal is to facilitate learning and to do so we must adhere to conditions that support this. Thank you for your cooperation with regard to this matter.
