Shortage Designation Information
The Division of Public Health works with our Federal partners to locate and define Medically Underserved Areas (MUA) and Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSA) in Delaware. Identifying these locations allows the state to compete for funding to alleviate areas of need and to recruit health professionals to work in these underserved areas.
