Public Health Preparedness Section (PHPS)


Vision Statement

“A state where the public’s health is protected from terrorism, natural disasters, infectious disease outbreaks, and other public health threats and emergencies.”

Mission Statement

PHPS takes the lead and collaborates with others to develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive program to prepare for, mitigate against, respond to and recover from public health threats and emergencies.
