Delaware Kinship Navigator Program

Program/Service description The purpose of the Delaware Kinship Navigator Program is to assist persons, such as grandparents, who are raising other relatives' children by providing them with information regarding services they (or the children they are caring for) may be eligible for as well as supporting them in accessing those services.

Grandparents or other persons aged 55 or over who are raising another person's children.

*Public funding means that the program is paid for, in part or in whole, by the government. Some publicly-funded programs have eligibility requirements and provide services at low cost or no cost to people who qualify. Most of these programs and services though, are also available to people who are able to pay privately (with their own money).
