| Program/Service description | Devices or appliances that enable individuals to increase their ability to perform activities of daily living or to communicate with the environment in which they live, or that provide life support. This service is provided on a limited basis to individuals enrolled in the Elderly & Disabled Waiver for those specialized medical equipment and supplies not otherwise covered by Medicaid. |

*Public funding means that the program is paid for, in part or in whole, by the government. Some publicly-funded programs have eligibility requirements and provide services at low cost or no cost to people who qualify.
