Delaware's Long Term Care Ombudsman Receives Recognition
In a recent ceremony hosted by Quality Insights of Delaware, Victor Orija, the State's Long Term Care Ombudsman, was recognized for his leadership in implementing the national nursing home campaign, Advancing Excellence in America's Nursing Homes, in Delaware.
Advancing Excellence in America's Nursing Homes is a campaign to improve the quality of life for residents and staff in nursing homes. Campaign leaders include long-term care providers, consumers, caregivers, medical professionals, advocates, government agencies, and others.

Victor is the Senior Administrator for the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program, operated by the Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities. The Ombudsman program plays an important role in advocating for quality care in Delaware's long term care facilities.
