NEW AND REDESIGNED DELAWARE HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES WEBSITE
DELAWARE-What makes a great website is focus and clarity of purpose. A great website is unpretentious. It doesn’t pretend to be what it is not. It never wastes your time because it always gets to the point. A great website helps you to act. A great website has Good navigation which reduces uncertainty and increases user familiarity.
“It is my belief that Delaware Health and Social Services now has a great website,” said Vincent P. Meconi, Cabinet Secretary for Delaware Health and Social Services. “When visiting the website users will see that it has been substantially reorganized to provide a simpler navigation and more effective way to access the information and services people need.” The site has also been designed to reflect a Common Look and Feel throughout providing a consistent and user-friendly experience to web surfers no matter which Division they happen to be visiting.
In order to meet the increasing demands of what is being termed the “digital lifestyle” we have also added a multimedia section which provides access to video and audio, slide shows, photo galleries and more. If you missed us on TV or Radio now you can catch via the web. The multi media section also allows us to organize and publish our many publications and reports in an efficient manner.
We are interested in receiving your feedback on the site, its navigation and headings, etc. We would like to hear your comments whether by phone, letter or email us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please spend some time on the new site and let us know what you think. We are already making plans for the next upgrade and we want to incorporate your feedback into those plans.
Delaware Health and Social Services is committed to improving the quality of the lives of Delaware's citizens by promoting health and well-being, fostering self-sufficiency, and protecting vulnerable populations.
