The Delaware Division of Public Health and the Delaware Department of Education are pleased to announce that the H1N1 School Vaccination Program will begin next week. H1N1 flu nasal spray vaccine will be administered to Delaware elementary public school students with parental permission this week; in future weeks, some older students will receive the injectable version of vaccine.

The following schools will be offering opportunities for the media to attend from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on the dates below:

For Monday, November 2 events, interested media agencies should contact:

• Colleen Rinker at 672-1655 for East Dover Elementary School in the Capitol School District
• Wendy Lapham at 552-2610 for Jennie Smith Elementary School in the Christina School District

For Tuesday, November 3 event, interested media agencies should contact:

• Kevin Mumford at 684-2516 for Milton Elementary School in the Cape Henlopen School District
