Updated Disabilities Guide Now Available

The Delaware Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD) has recently updated its directory of services for people with disabilities.

The 2008-2009 Guide to Services for Persons with Disabilities in Delaware is now available electronically and can be downloaded from the Publications page of the DSAAPD web site.

The guide contains listings of organizations and programs that provide assistance to people with disabilities in areas such as employment, education, transportation, housing, and much more.

For the first time, this edition of the guide also incorporates the full-text versions of three related guides:

  • A Guide to Disabilities Rights Laws, prepared by the U.S. Department of Justice
  • A Guide to Insurance and Health Care Programs for People with Disabilities, prepared by the Delaware Department of Insurance
  • A Guide to Obtaining Assistive Technology Devices & Services for Adults in Delaware, prepared by the Delaware Assistive Technology Initiative
