State Plan Hearings to be Held in April 2016

Delaware Health and Social Services, Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD), has drafted a State Plan on Aging to cover the period from October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2020.

The State Plan on Aging has been developed to meet requirements under Title III and Title VII of the Older Americans Act. These titles provide funding for a variety of programs and services in Delaware including supportive services; nutrition programs; disease prevention and health promotion initiatives; elder rights protection activities; and caregiver support programs.

DSAAPD has scheduled four hearings to provide the public with the opportunity to offer comments and suggestions on the draft plan. All interested individuals are welcome to attend. Please see the table below or download the State Plan hearing flyer for dates, times, and locations of the hearings.
