services<\/strong> including family supports, Shared Living, respite, neighborhood homes, supported living,\n\n\n    pre-vocational, vocational and supported employment as well as day habilitation services;\n\n\n  <\/li>\n\n\n  <li>\n\n\n    <strong>Case management,<\/strong> nursing, psychology, therapy and other professional supports to ensure that individuals receive the\n\n\n    quality and level of supports needed;\n\n\n  <\/li>\n\n\n  <li>\n\n\n    <strong>Early intervention services<\/strong> as part of the DHSS Child Developmental Watch program which works with families in order\n\n\n    to prevent or minimize developmental delays in children at risk who are ages 0-3;\n\n\n  <\/li>\n\n\n  <li>\n\n\n    <strong>Stockley Center<\/strong> which is an intermediate care facility providing residential services and day services;\n\n\n  <\/li>\n\n\n  <li>\n\n\n    <strong>Community education and advocacy<\/strong>;\n\n\n  <\/li>\n\n\n  <li>\n\n\n    <a href=\"irss.html\"><strong>Individual Rate-Setting Program<\/strong><\/a> <strong>\u00a0<\/strong> Designed to allow individuals to have\n\n\n    a portable rate, which empowers them to choose their respective providers from throughout the state. Allows providers to receive fair\n\n\n    and equitable reimbursement that is consistent among state providers.\n\n\n  <\/li>\n\n\n  <li>\n\n\n    <a href=\"cps.html\">Authorized Provider System<\/a> is used to simplify and expedite the process by which agencies and individuals become\n\n\n    certified and selected to provide day and residential services for people with Developmental Disabilities;\n\n\n  <\/li>\n\n\n  <li>\n\n\n    <a href=\"training.html\">Training and Professional Development\u2009<\/a> provides training and resources to State Employees, Agency\n\n\n    Staff, Shared Living Providers, and the families of people with Developmental Disabilities.\n\n\n  <\/li>\n\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p>\n\n\n  DDDS services can help in the development of work skill&#8217;s, self care skills, community living skills, leisure\/social skills, and\n\n\n  academic\/communication skills.
