Health care trade and professional organizations have been working hard to support their membership. This fund would provide support to them as they help their membership adapt to providing services in new ways during the pandemic.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and awarded based on the applicant’s annual Calendar Year (CY) 2019 operating budget.
Applications are due no later than November 30, 2020.
The application is included below. Applicants will need to provide their organizational information, a brief overview of how the entity will spend awarded funds (including a line item budget of the proposal), and a 12-month financial statement of the CY 2019 operating budget.
Final applications should include: 1) a signed application; 2) signed certification; 3) a line item budget; and 4) a 12-month financial statement listing the applicant’s Calendar Year (CY) 2019 operating budget.

Applicants must be a health care trade or professional organization in Delaware and have been in operation as of February 1, 2020. Applicants who have received funding from a Health Care Relief Fund industry-based program are ineligible to apply for any subject-based fund.
Applicants will be required to attest that they reviewed the U.S. Treasury Department guidance
, will use received funds for acceptable expenses as defined in those documents, as well as to attest to legal terms and conditions.
Funding is available through a one-time federal funding award.
Funding amounts will be awarded based on the applicant's CY 2019 operating budget:
- Under $100,000 in operating expenses, maximum award of $10,000
- $100,001- $500,000 in operating expenses, maximum award of $20,000
- $500,001 - $1,000,000 in operating expenses, maximum award of $40,000
- $1,000,000 - $5,000,000 in operating expenses, maximum award of $100,000
- $5,000,001 or more in operating expenses, maximum award of $150,000
The timeline will vary based on application submission date and when it receives budget approval. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis starting November 16, 2020.
