These partners offer resources and services for all ages, cultures, and walks of life. Our partners assist with women’s issues related to: domestic violence, chronic illness, reproductive health, aging and disabilities, as well as state services, health planning, and disease prevention. Alzheimer’s Association

The Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter serves Southeastern Pennsylvania, South Jersey and Delaware. It is the local chapter of the National Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association. We are an alliance of family members and professionals dedicated to helping people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families through education, advocacy, and support. Breastfeeding Coalition of Delaware

The Breastfeeding Coalition of Delaware strives to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding in Delaware by imparting current and evidence-based information and skills to enable parents, families, health practitioners, and community leaders make informed decisions. They have recently created a comprehensive guide for services titled "Guide to Breastfeeding Support Resources in Delaware". Delaware Health Care Association

The Delaware Healthcare Association was formed in 1967 to assist Delaware hospitals in working on issues concerning health care and the hospital industry. The Delaware Healthcare Association is a statewide trade and membership services organization that exists to represent and serve hospitals, health systems, and related health care organizations in their role of providing a continuum of appropriate, cost-effective, quality care to improve the health of the people of Delaware. The primary role of the Association is to serve as a leader in the promotion of effective change in health services through collaboration and consensus building on health care issues at the State and Federal levels. Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence

Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence (DCADV) is the statewide, nonprofit coalition of agencies and individuals working to stop domestic violence in Delaware. We work in partnership with direct service providers, government officials, and business and community partners to promote equality in relationships as we strive to alter the social conditions that allow violence and abuse to occur. Developmental Disabilities Council

The mission of the Delaware Developmental Disabilities Council is to promote and embrace inclusion, equality and empowerment. To that end the Council will fund projects that promote system change, facilitate access to culturally competent services, educate the public and policy makers, and hold agencies accountable. The Council believes that all individuals should be included, all individuals should be able to exercise their rights and responsibilities, needs of individuals and families should be met, supports should be person-centered, and equality should be promoted and the accepted standard. Family Health Services

Family Health Services (FHS) is a section within the Division of Public Health. Girl’s Health

The mission of girlshealth.gov, developed by the Office on Women's Health in the Department of Health and Human Services, is to promote healthy, positive behaviors in girls between the ages of 10 and 16. The site gives girls reliable, useful information on the health issues they will face as they become young women, and tips on handling relationships with family and friends, at school and at home. Planned Parenthood

Screening for Life

Screening for Life provides payment for cancer screening tests to qualified Delaware adults. The program is a cooperative effort of the Delaware Division of Public Health and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Cancers can be treated more effectively if they are found early, and Screening for Life can help you get the tests you need at the recommended times. Eligible individuals can receive: office visits, mammograms and clinical breast exams for breast cancer, pap tests, prostate cancer screening tests recommended by your doctor, colorectal cancer screening tests recommended by your doctor, health education, and help with coordinating associated care. Senior Medicare Patrol

The Delaware Senior Medicare Patrol Program (SMP) provides public information to encourage people who have Medicare to carefully read their Medicare summary notices and ask questions if they do not think the information is correct. This program also trains people who are retired to help other Medicare beneficiaries get the information they need when they suspect fraud, waste, or abuse of the Medicare program. The mission of $tand By Me® is to provide Delawareans with a Personal Financial Coach and a toolkit to navigate the challenges leading to personal financial security. State Service Centers

The Department of Health & Social Services provides a number of services to Delawareans all throughout the state. The State Service Centers can be found in all three counties and provide assistance such as: medical insurance, food and nutrition programs, emergency housing, and home energy assistance. Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation

Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. United Way – PRIDE Council

Founded in 1965, United Way of Delaware (UWD) works to advance the common good by focusing on the three building blocks to a good life: Education, Income and Health. University of Delaware – Women’s Health

The Women’s Health Clinic at the University of Delaware is staffed by an all female staff including: a gynecologist, women’s health nurse practitioners, and a registered nurse staff with training and experience in gynecology. They provide services such as: treatment of women’s health issues including routine gynecologic examination, pap smears, contraceptive services, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing and counseling, sexually transmitted disease testing and treatment, colonoscopy and routine gynecological treatment. WIC Program

The Delaware WIC program provides nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating, breastfeeding support, and referrals to other healthcare, welfare and social services to low-income women, infants & children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk.
