Paying attention to your health and wellness is an essential activity to be engaged in during all phases of your life, as well as, by individuals of all types. Did you know that minority groups are more likely to suffer from heart disease, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, cancer, suicide, tuberculosis, strokes, obesity, and infant mortality, than their white counterparts? It is important to know your family history and your current health status in order to effectively prevent disease.
