The webinar is offered at no cost. The MSD designates this enduring \n\n\n\n\n\n\neducational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit\u2122. Physicians should \n\n\n\n\n\n\nclaim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3>SUMMARY<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>This webinar describes the epidemiology (with particular emphasis on Delaware), early \n\n\n\n\n\n\nrecognition, and prevention of Lyme disease. The webinar is suitable for physicians, physician \n\n\n\n\n\n\nassistants, and all levels of nurses (i.e., advanced practice, RN, LPN). Early recognition of \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLyme disease is key to decreasing associated morbidity and promoting positive health outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3>BACKGROUND<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Lyme disease continues to be the most common vectorborne disease in the United States. Delaware \n\n\n\n\n\n\nis considered a high-incidence state for Lyme disease.
