The goal of the RespondDE is to provide support to the Division of Public Health during an emergency or disaster. RespondDE continues to recruit volunteers that are willing to be trained and are able to respond to assist the DPH in an emergency.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The Delaware State Emergency Registry for Healthcare Personnel, or SERVDE, is an automated registration system that establishes and certifies the qualifications of healthcare volunteers, to include RespondDE members. The SERVDE is part of the National Emergency System for Advance Registration of Volunteer Health Professionals <strong>(ESAR-VHP)<\/strong> program to assist states in the development of a standardized program for registering volunteer health professionals in advance of an emergency or disaster.
