It is critically important that you start the discussion with your patients about cavity prevention early,\n\n\n\n  including regular dental visits by a child\u2019s first birthday.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\n\n\n  Cavities can be extremely painful and treatment very costly for parents. If left untreated, tooth decay can cause school absences and\n\n\n\n  negatively impact a child\u2019s development and self-esteem.
