HSP is listening?\" class=\"floatright\" height=\"100\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/dph\/img\/hspsurveybutton.png\"><\/a>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"center\">FLOODS AND MOSQUITOES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul>\n\n\n\n\n<li class=\"dblspace\">The large amount of pooled water remaining after the flood will lead to an increase\n\n\n\n\nin mosquito populations. Mosquitoes are most active at sunrise and sunset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<li class=\"dblspace\">The majority of these mosquitoes will be pests, not carriers of\u00a0communicable\n\n\n\n\ndiseases.\u00a0 However, some mosquitoes do carry diseases, such as West Nile virus, so it is important\n\n\n\n\nto continue protect yourself from mosquito bites.<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<li class=\"dblspace\">To protect yourself from mosquitoes, use screens on dwellings and wear long-sleeved\n\n\n\n\nand long-legged clothing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<li class=\"dblspace\">Insect repellents containing DEET are very effective. Be sure to read all instructions\n\n\n\n\nbefore using DEET.
