The regulations were amended to reflect changes or advances in the practice community, and to be more consonant with other state and federal regulations.  Establishing radiation control regulations is the statutory mandate of the Authority on Radiation Protection, a governor-appointed public board which establishes the radiation control regulations to protect the public health and safety. The Office of Radiation Control is the administrative agent for the Authority, and carries out the regulations. <a href=\"http:\/\/regulations.delaware.gov\/AdminCode\/title16\/Department%20of%20Health%20and%20Social%20Services\/Division%20of%20Public%20Health\/Health%20Systems%20Protection%20(HSP)\/4465.shtml\"><strong>Follow this link to see the entire regulation 4465<\/strong><\/a>.
