<!--[type=HTMLEDIT name=\"Content\"]-->\n\n\n\n<p>The Women\u2019s Auxiliary of the <a href=\"dhci.html\">Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill<\/a> (DHCI) was formed in 1966 to enhance the lives of residents. During the 50+ years that the Women\u2019s Auxiliary has been in operation, the group has operated the hospital&#8217;s gift shop and has held various fundraisers.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>The DHCI gift shop is staffed by volunteers and is open Monday-Friday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. It offers a selection of gift items, snack foods, drinks, and personal items and is open to the residents, staff, and the public. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>All funds raised by the Women&#8217;s Auxiliary benefit residents. Past purchases have included a new washer and dryer, rocking chairs, bird feeders, and a bingo machine.
