The goal of the PROMISE program (Promoting Optimal Mental Health for Individuals through Supports and Empowerment) is to improve clinical and recovery outcomes and reduce unnecessary institutional care through better care coordination, and thereby also reduce the growth in overall program costs. During the public hearings, an <a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/dsamh\/pdf\/promisepresentation.pdf\">overview of PROMISE<\/a> was presented to those in attendance, and as a result the state received and responded to numerous <a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/dsamh\/pdf\/promiseqanda.pdf\">questions and comments<\/a> from the public regarding the PROMISE
