This pay code should <u>never be removed<\/u> from the timesheet by supervisors or auditors. <\/p><br>\n\n\n\n     <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"timesheet\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/otsa\/img\/timesheet.jpg\"><br>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p>All FMLA cases have a case number assigned to them, and this will appear on the timesheet.<\/p><br>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"timesheet2\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/otsa\/img\/timesheet2.jpg\"><br><br>\n\n\n\n<p>Once eSTAR determines the employee is eligible for FMLA, the LOA pay code will write to the timesheet and available leave will decrement from the employee&#8217;s leave bank. Hover your mouse on the blue and purple line. Your employee&#8217;s FMLA case number(s) with actual and projected FMLA usage dates will appear.<\/p><p><br>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"usuagebylevel\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/otsa\/img\/usuagebylevel.jpg\"><br>\n\n\n\n<\/p><p>The <u>FMLA Allowance<\/u> graph displays both actual and projected FMLA usage. <\/p><p><br>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"fmlaallowan\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/otsa\/img\/fmlaallowan.jpg\"><br><br>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/p><h2><i>How can I determine if the employee is paid during FMLA?<\/i><\/h2><p>Click on<u> Results Tab<\/u>.<br><br>\n\n\n\n<\/p><p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"results\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/otsa\/img\/results.jpg\"><br><br>\n\n\n\n<\/p><p>The results tab displays the LOA code and available paid leave and applicable holiday(s) used each day.<\/p><p><br>\n\n\n\n<\/p><p>Click on the far right <u>arrow<\/u>.<\/p><p>Uncheck the<u> Work Date <\/u>box.<\/p><p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"loa\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/otsa\/img\/loa.jpg\"><br><br>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/p><p>Unchecking this box will display the total amount of leave paid for each pay cycle. <\/p><p><br>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"totalamount\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/otsa\/img\/totalamount.jpg\"><br><br>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/p><h1>FMLA Intermittent Leave<\/h1><p><br>\n\n\n\n<\/p><h2><i>How will I be notified of my employee&#8217;s leave requests?<\/i><\/h2><p><br>\n\n\n\n<\/p><p>Leave requests from your employees will be sent to you electronically. Confirm that the request is a FMLA request and not a sick leave request before approving. If the employee has multiple FMLA intermittent leave cases they must select the appropriate case number associated with the reason for the FMLA request.<\/p><p>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n          <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"paycode\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/otsa\/img\/paycodel.jpg\"><br><br>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/p><h2><i>What should I do if an employee has multiple FMLA Intermittent  cases? <\/i><\/h2><p><br>\n\n\n\n<\/p><p>\n\n\n\nPlease be mindful of the leave request as it pertains to the Case Identification number and the Designation Notice.\n\n\n\nYou may need to review the FMLA designation notice for each FMLA intermittent leave case to ensure the leave requested matches the approved FMLA leave parameters noted on the FMLA designation notice.\n\n\n\n<\/p><p><br>\n\n\n\n<\/p><h2><i>What if FMLA is denied?<\/i><\/h2><p><br>\n\n\n\n<\/p><p>The ACT Case Manager will remove the LOA pay code.
