Serves as in-house experts for interpretation of the Merit Rules as well as federal employment laws such as the Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Assist managers in administering/reviewing DHSS collective bargaining agreements, performance reviews, improvement plans and conduct-related issues.
