Enjoy! - Countdown to DVI Centennial The Delaware Division for the Visually Impaired will celebrate its 100th anniversary of providing services to blind and visually impared Delawareans in the spring of 2009. - In 1909, DVI (then known as The Delaware Commission for the Blind) began providing services to blind and visually impaired Delawareans. Planning has begun to celebrate this significant milestone. In recognition of this historic milestone, the agency is planning a number of special events in the next 18 months and has unveiled a Centennial Logo developed by volunteer and consumer Ryan Higgins.
