Burden of Diabetes in Delaware: 2002

In 2002, the Delaware Diabetes Prevention and Control Program published the first report on the extent and burden of diabetes in our state. The report set the stage for expansion of diabetes prevention and control efforts in Delaware, and was followed later in the year by a companion document, A Plan to Prevent and Control Diabetes in Delaware.
