Options Counseling

Program/Service description Options Counseling provides support to people who need assistance in deciding how best to meet their long term care needs. Specifically, options counseling helps people identify their needs and preferences, understand the long term care service options available to them, and make decisions about their care. Options counselors meet with individuals and their families in a variety of settings, including in their homes, in hospitals, in long term care facilities, or in other locations.

Options Counseling is available to assist older persons and adults with disabilities in Delaware (or people seeking information or support on their behalf), regardless of income.

*Public funding means that the program is paid for, in part or in whole, by the government. Some publicly-funded programs have eligibility requirements and provide services at low cost or no cost to people who qualify.
