The Delaware Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD) provides a broad range of services to support older persons, persons with disabilities, and caregivers. Some of these services are operated directly by DSAAPD staff. Others are funded through DSAAPD and operated under contract by outside organizations.
Following is a list of the services operated or funded by DSAAPD. Select a service from the list below to get a description, eligibility information, and other important facts.
Please note that many other valuable services are available in Delaware which are operated and funded independently of DSAAPD. The Guide to Services for Older Delawareans and Persons with Disabilities, published by DSAAPD, contains a comprehensive list of these services. See the box at the bottom of the page for more information about this publication..
* The Long Term Care Ombudsman Program is housed within the Delaware Health and Social Services Office of the Secretary.
