The Delaware Health Fund Advisory Committee is seeking under $50,000 grant applications in two areas, School Health and Health Equity and Creative Health Innovation.
School Health and Health Equity: Projects must focus on improving health in a school setting related to one or more of these priority areas - physical activity, healthy eating, vaping prevention, asthma, vision and oral health or mental health/behavioral health. DHFAC and the Division of Public Health (DPH) are seeking to engage school districts, individual schools, as well as other stakeholders as potential mini-grantees.
Creative Health Innovation: This funding opportunity is for initiatives that will improve health and health equity for Delawareans related to one of these priority areas - preventing and reducing obesity and increasing physical activity through the lifespan; vaping prevention; social determinants of health (focus on housing access); and increasing dental access.
Applications are due by Feb. 15 and can be filled out and returned online at the Delaware Community Foundation's grant portal, https://www.delcf.org/grants/.
