The Office of the Secretary – Administration provides leadership and policy direction for Delaware Health and Social Services.

The Office of The Secretary (SEC) and Office of the Secretary – Administration are responsible for the development of the DHSS budget which this year is over $1.1 billion dollars. Of this, approximately $599.8 million dollars are in State general funds with another $511.1 million dollars in Federal/special funds.

The division is supported by a staff of more than 500.
