FMLA CONTINUOUS LEAVE
Employee works mid pay cycle and becomes eligible for FMLA the remainder of the pay cycle.
Who is responsible?
The ACT Case Manager is responsible for approving the employee’s timesheet for the applicable pay cycle.
NOTE: If overtime hours appear on the timesheet, the ACT Case Manager will verify approval of overtime with the employee’s supervisor.
Employee is approved for FMLA continuous leave and the employee returns to work the remainder of the pay cycle.

The employee’s supervisor is responsible for validating hours worked for the remainder of the pay cycle and approving the timesheet.
FMLA INTERMITTENT LEAVE
Employee requests FMLA intermittent leave using eSTAR.
Who is responsible?
The employee’s supervisor is responsible for approving the leave request for FMLA intermittent leave and approving the timesheet for the applicable pay cycle.
Who approves the employee’s timesheet during the employee’s leave due to short term disability or leave due to workers’ compensation?
The ACT Case Manager is responsible for approving the employee’s timesheet for the applicable pay cycle(s) until the employee returns to work for a full pay cycle.
