Infant Mortality Elimination Program
The Infant Mortality Elimination Program (IMEP) directs the implementation of the recommendations of the Governor's Infant Mortality Task Force with the goal of reducing infant mortality and the racial disparity in infant mortality rates. Among the programs developed to implement the recommendations are:
- Preconception Care Program
- Enhanced Prenatal and Postpartum Care Program
- Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS)
