Background Checks are changing!
A new electronic tool to help employers gather the information they need to make a hiring decision is under construction. The new tool is the Background Check Center, the BCC. There is a new law which establishes the system.
See the schedule for upcoming events that will provide employers with the information - including training opportunities - associated with the new, mandatory background check process, which starts in early 2013.
Learn about IMPs. They will be your best resources as you learn the BCC.
The BCC Helpline is now operational.
The phone number is (302) 577-1406. Providers can call this number for help with questions regarding the BCC.
