Delaware Division of Social Services Change Report Center

The Division of Social Services (DSS) is pleased to announce the opening of our new Change Report Center on October 1, 2008. The Change Report Center (CRC) will make it easier for clients to ask questions, report changes and resolve issues about their cases, without requiring them to contact or visit field offices, through use of updated technology and other tools that result in faster and more efficient service.

CRC staff will assist in managing some of the work previously performed by DSS field office staff. Things like address changes, changes in income, addition of newborns and changes in household expenses are some of the work that will now be handled by CRC staff. CRC staff will interact with clients and DSS field offices by use of phone, fax, email and regular mail. Along with improved customer service as an immediate goal of the CRC, DSS expects the long-term benefits will be more manageable caseloads and improve accuracy.
