The Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD) is pleased to present a new Emergency Preparedness Plan to Delawareans.

Disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, lightning strikes, home fires, windstorms can be more challenging to our vulnerable population.  DSAAPD encourages Delawareans to be part of our effort in saving lives, protecting homes and families from natural disasters.

The Emergency Preparedness Plan:

The Emergency Preparedness Plan helps anyone, including older persons and persons with disabilities, structure a planning process to prepare for emergencies, such as hurricanes, power failures, earthquakes, flu outbreaks, floods, and terrorist attacks.

Family members, service professionals, or other caregivers inspire to work with those using the Emergency Preparedness Plan to plan for emergency actively.
