Physician and Dentist Loan Repayment Program

The Division of Public Health collaborates closely with the Delaware Health Care Commission (HCC) staff on the Delaware Loan Repayment Program.

This program places physicians and dentists in underserved areas in the state.

Loan Repayment Program awards are made available to physicians and dentists for repayment of outstanding government and commercial loans incurred during undergraduate or graduate education.

Participants are required to provide services in an underserved area for a minimum of three years.
