The Delaware Public Laboratory Chemical Terrorism Preparedness section has the capability to ship specimens and samples for chemical analysis to various partner laboratories within our region and throughout the United States. The Chemical Preparedness section provides training and guidance to sentinel laboratories (hospital and environmental). The Delaware Public Health Laboratory works with federal, state and external partners to develop action plans. ICP/MS methods are used to determine lead in the blood of preschool children.
