Reporting Abuse in Long-Term Care Settings



Ombudsmen are not emergency responders. If you feel that the person is in immediate danger, please contact 9-1-1. When contacting the Delaware Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, an Ombudsman will explain options of reporting allegations of abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation.

Processing complaints made by or on behalf of residents is the highest priority of the program.
