On Jan. 1, 2012, Delaware's Division of Public Health (DPH) will publish proposed revisions to the State of Delaware Regulations Governing Free Standing Surgical Centers and make them available for public comment per Delaware law.
The purpose of the new regulations is to align them with current healthcare standards and federal requirements. Due to the extensive number of changes, DPH's Office of Health Facilities Licensing and Certification (OHFLC) concluded that the current regulations should be repealed and replaced in their entirety with the proposed regulations now being published.
Copies of the proposed regulations are available for review in the Jan. 1, 2012 edition of the Delaware Register of Regulations, accessible online at: regulations.delaware.gov or by calling OHFLC at (302) 283-7220
Written suggestions, testimony, briefs or other written materials concerning the proposed regulations must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 30, 2012 at the following address:
