NEW CASTLE (Aug. 16, 2013) - The Delaware Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has ruled the death of a man whose body was found Aug. 13 in a burning car near Delmar as a suicide.
Following an autopsy, the Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as a 42-year-old Hebron, Md., man. Under state law, no further information can be released to the public.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal's office said the fire was reported about 6 p.m. Aug. 13 in a cornfield west of Delmar. The fire marshal's office and the Delaware State Police investigated the case.
