WHAT: | Release of the biomonitoring report that studied 35 participants in the Millsboro area, in the vicinity of the Indian River Power Plant. The report, by the Research Triangle Institute (RTI) International, was undertaken in response to residents' concerns about the causes of cancer and other illness. Both indoor and outdoor air, as well as personal air, and biological samples were collected during the fall of 2011 and fall of 2012. The study, conducted by RTI on behalf of the state, was the first of its kind in Delaware. |
