MEDIA ADVISORY: DPH to HOLD MEDIA CALL ON FLU *for planning purposes only

WHO:	Dr. Karyl Rattay, Director, Division of Public Health
WHAT:	Phone call for media to provide update on intense flu season. For the week ending Feb. 3, 2018, 995 lab-confirmed cases were reported. This is the highest single week total in Delaware�s recorded history. Additionally, DPH will be announcing several more flu-related deaths. The call information will include current prevention recommendations and information on where to get the flu vaccine.
