Governor's Residence at Woodburn 151 Kings Highway Dover, DE 19901 As a result of the races, Kings Highway between Reed Street and Division Street will be closed to through traffic from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Division Street between State Street and Park Drive will be temporarily closed from 11:45 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. |
WHY: |
The fun-filled annual event promotes the importance of physical activity and wellness among State of Delaware employees, pensioners, and faculty and staff from all public school districts and charter schools. An off-site option allows those who cannot attend the events to participate from other locations and accumulate 6,400 steps, roughly the equivalent of a 5K, by walking, jogging, or running.
The Food Bank of Delaware will be on site to collect nonperishable food for Delawareans in need. |
