WHAT:

The U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Reform hearing titled: The Trump Administration's Response to the Drug Crisis, Part II.

The Committee previously convened a hearing on March 7, 2019, to examine ONDCP's National Drug Control Strategy.

Dr. Karyl Rattay, Director of Delaware's Division of Public Health, was invited on behalf of the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) to provide testimony regarding the nation's opioid crisis, which most states consider to be the public health crisis of our generation. Dr. Rattay's testimony will focus on Delaware's efforts regarding prevention, increasing access to treatment, harm reduction, data and surveillance and the importance of coordination of resources at the state and federal level.
