In order to ensure efficient and accurate communications with the press, the State of Delaware will operate a virtual Joint Information Center (JIC) to coordinate the flow of information and media requests on Election Day 2020. The JIC will be the principal point of contact for media requests that specifically pertain to Election Day, to include: Public safety/public health issues, technology/cybersecurity problems, emergency response, and election administration. Questions not related to the elections, such as routine interview requests with agency principals, should not be directed to the JIC.
Hours of Operation: November 3, 2020 7 a.m. - 1 a.m.; from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. a reduced staff will monitor and respond to media inquiries.
