The 2002 Behavioral Risk Factor Survey provides data on a wide variety of risk factors and health issues. Click on any of the links below for a summary of data for that risk factor. For additional information, search the interactive database on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website, or contact the Delaware BRFSS Coordinator.
Where possible, data is given for three racial or ethnic groups in Delaware – non-Hispanic whites, non-Hispanic African Americans, and Hispanic/Latino. However, for many data breakdowns the sample size for Hispanics is too small to provide valid estimates. In those cases, data is provided only for whites and African Americans.
The sample size for 2002 was 4,016 adult Delawareans age 18 and older. For total population estimates the standard error is < ±1% at a 95% confidence level.
