The Delaware Department of Labor (DOL) and DCSS have an agreement that permits the withholding of Unemployment Compensation for child support purposes. Through an automated link, DOL and DCSS are able to intercept Unemployment Compensation as it becomes payable if the NCP is subject to an existing income withholding order. The automated link also permits identification of those NCPs not presently under an existing income withholding order but who are receiving Unemployment Compensation that could be subject to an income withholding order.
