Buy Equipment, Test Kits and Reagents for
Cystic Fibrosis Mutation Analysis





1.  What is the estimated monthly volumes to be run?  

Initially volumes will be low as we will be running Delaware specimens only 
(20/month).  Once other states join in, the volumes should increase dramatically.  The 
rate of increase will depend on the ease/difficulty in getting those interstate contracts 
in place.  My estimate at peak would be 100-150/month.



2.  Does the New Born Screening Lab have a thermal cycler within the lab?  

Yes, the Newborn Screening Lab has an Applied Biosystems GeneAmp PCR System 
9700 thermocycler, brand new and never been used.
