- C.A.R.E. Delaware Brings National Conference to Dover
Recognizing that caregivers need resources, support and relief, the Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD) is sponsoring the 69th Fearless Caregiver conference Thursday May 29th in Dover. Statistics show families who care for older adults need support. The pressure of their ongoing role can cause increased stress and depression. With little free time and few resources, caregivers are often forced to ignore their own health issues. In addition to their primary jobs in the workplace and at home, hundreds of Delawareans are taking on the additional role of caregiver to others.
- Spring Edition of Most Wanted Child Support Evader Poster Released
In its ongoing search of deadbeat parents, the Division of Child Support Enforcement's latest Most Wanted Poster features 12 new names and photographs of men and women wanted for failing to pay child support who, between them, owe almost $400,000 in unpaid child support.
- New Smyrna State Service Center Open for Business as of April 21
On Monday April 21 at 8am, the new Smyrna State Service Center opens for business. The new 10,000 sq. ft. center broke ground last June, after the decision to build it was made based in part on both demographic need analyses and community outreach.
