Delaware’s Statewide Transition Plan for the CMS Community Rule is posted on the DMMA website. The CMS Community Rule “defines, describes and aligns home and community-based setting requirements” funded by Medicaid. The DDDS HCBS Waiver is funded by Medicaid and must, therefore, be included in the Statewide Transition Plan. The public can view the full Statewide Transition Plan (which includes the DDDS Transition Plan) there and can submit comments on the Plan to the email address provided. The Statewide Plan must be submitted to CMS by no later than March 17, 2015.
The Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB) has established standards for the credentialing and certification of sex offender treatment professionals wishing to practice and provide services in Delaware to convicted adult sex offenders and/or adjudicated juveniles must be certified by the board in accordance to these standards of practice. Neighborhood Home Regulations are Now Available for Review! DDDS collaborates with the Division of Long Term Care Residents Protection (DLTCRP) to license neighborhood group homes on an annual basis. The DDDS portion of the review concentrates mainly on programmatic concerns and in general is completed first. We are pleased to be able to make our Neighborhood Home Regulations available for review.
